Domain Ownership Policy. Rights, Transfers & Compliance.
Comprehensive rules governing domain management during active subscriptions, transfer eligibility upon plan completion, and full client usage responsibilities.
Domain Rights & Management Terms
This policy outlines the ownership structure of domain names procured and managed by DScholar Web throughout and after your active subscription term.
Ownership During Active Terms
Throughout the active subscription period, administrative ownership of the domain remains strictly with DScholar Web.
This administrative hold is maintained solely for service and technical maintenance, ensuring seamless DNS configuration, SSL security, website deployment, and uptime management.
Transfer Upon Plan Completion
If a client fully completes their committed subscription term (1-year, 2-year, or 3-year plan) and decides not to renew services, full ownership of the domain name will be transferred to the client upon request without transfer fees.
Early Cancellation Terms
If a client cancels or terminates their subscription prior to completing the agreed subscription period, the domain ownership will not be transferred.
The domain name will remain the exclusive asset and property of DScholar Web to offset operational setup costs.
Full Client Responsibility for Domain & Email Usage
While DScholar Web manages technical infrastructure, the client holds 100% full legal, moral, and operational responsibility for all activities, communications, and content published or transmitted through the domain name and associated business email accounts.
- Acceptable Content: The client guarantees that all domain content and email communications comply with applicable international laws and regulatory standards.
- Prohibited Misuse: Sending unsolicited mass emails (SPAM), conducting phishing campaigns, hosting illegal content, or committing fraud via the domain or linked emails is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate suspension without refund.
- Indemnification: The client agrees to hold DScholar Web and its parent company completely harmless against any third-party claims, legal penalties, or liabilities arising from the client’s usage of the domain and email services.
Unforeseen Events & Registry Disruptions
DScholar Web is not liable for service interruptions, domain transfer delays, or loss of access resulting from domain registry (ICANN) policy changes, registry outages, or events beyond our reasonable control (Force Majeure).
Registry & Regulatory Standards
All domain registrations are governed by ICANN and top-level registry regulations. DScholar Web reserves the right to take necessary administrative steps to protect domain integrity during legal disputes or registrar actions.
