This Cancellation & Refund Policy governs the subscription-based website services provided by DScholar Web. Please review these terms carefully prior to subscribing.
What This Policy Covers
This policy applies to all 1-year, 2-year, and 3-year website subscription plans managed by DScholar Web.
DScholar Web is an ambitious service unit of DScholar Research Consultancy and Analytics (OPC) Private Limited. We build, host on our high-performance VPS servers, and manage websites for the exact tenure chosen by the client (1, 2, or 3 years).
During the active subscription tenure, clients receive full managed maintenance and a free domain name registered for the length of the chosen subscription period.
Strict No-Refund Standard: A client may request to cancel their subscription at any time during their active subscription period; however, under no circumstances will any full or partial refund be issued.
All payments made toward website creation, VPS server setup, domain registration, and management services are non-refundable upon order placement and service activation.
We Do Not Encourage Cancellations
We are dedicated to providing smooth, high-quality digital solutions and fully resolving any issues you encounter.
We do not encourage our clients to cancel their subscriptions. We understand that technical challenges or misunderstandings can arise, and our team is committed to addressing and solving every issue to ensure your complete satisfaction.
With every active subscription plan, clients receive full access to the dedicated E-Workspace.

We offer structured 1-Year, 2-Year, and 3-Year website subscription plans to handle end-to-end digital setup and ongoing online management.

VPS Hosting & Management
High-speed hosting hosted directly on our dedicated VPS servers, managed completely by our technical team throughout your tenure.
Free Domain & Emails
Complimentary domain name registration for the subscription period along with custom organizational email addresses provided by us.
Cancelling Your Subscription
Clients retain the technical right to request a cancellation of their subscription service at any point during their active 1-year, 2-year, or 3-year term by submitting an official notice to DScholar Web.
Where account management features exist under My Account or within the E-Workspace, clients may also initiate a cancellation request directly through the portal.
Please note that submitting a cancellation request immediately triggers our service offboarding process and confirms your intent to terminate VPS hosting and website management.
Cancelling early will not trigger any pro-rata, partial, or full refund for unused time remaining in your subscription term.
European Union Right of Withdrawal (EU Withdrawal Button)
Dedicated statutory compliance and simplified digital cancellation processing for customers residing within the European Union.
For our clients based in the European Union, we provide a simple, fully automated online method to exercise your statutory right of withdrawal — known as the EU Withdrawal Button (in German, the Widerrufsbutton).
Our platform utilizes SureCart, which includes a dedicated integration tool—the SureCart EU Helper—designed to manage EU statutory cancellation requests seamlessly.
The SureCart EU Helper adds an instant withdrawal option directly to your customer dashboard. It guides shoppers through a simple two-step request process, automatically dispatches an instant email confirmation to all parties, and notifies our support team to review and process your request immediately.
What Happens When a Client Cancels?
Domain Ownership
The domain name registered for the service remains with DScholar Web upon subscription cancellation or non-renewal.
Immediate Website Deactivation
The website stops working and becomes offline immediately upon the processing of the cancellation request.
Automatic Deletion (60 Days)
All website files, code, databases, and server configurations will be permanently and automatically deleted from our VPS server within 60 days.
Email Address Termination
All client email addresses provided by us will stop functioning immediately and all associated mailbox data will be removed.
Absolute No-Refund Terms
The core principle of our pricing and service agreement is strictly zero refunds.
No Pro-Rata Refunds
Unused tenure on 1-year, 2-year, or 3-year plans will not be refunded regardless of when the cancellation request is submitted.
Setup & Development Costs
Resource allocation, design work, and VPS environment provision begin immediately upon payment and are strictly non-refundable.
Third-Party Costs
Domain registration fees, software licenses, and server allocations incurred on behalf of the client cannot be refunded.
Duplicate Transaction Claims
In verified cases of explicit system duplicate payments, adjustments will be made at the sole discretion of accounting following verification.
Non-Refundable Scenarios
Refunds will not be granted under any standard operating circumstance, including but not limited to:
- Change of mind, business closure, or change in company requirements.
- Cancellation due to client delay in providing required information, logos, content, or approvals.
- Incompatibility with third-party software or tools outside our provided VPS stack.
- Termination resulting from client breach of service guidelines or illegal use of server infrastructure.
- Dissatisfaction expressed after development work or design implementation has taken place.
1, 2, and 3 Year Subscription Terms
DScholar Web provides website packages strictly in 1-Year, 2-Year, and 3-Year term structures.
Choosing a multi-year subscription guarantees price lock-in, free domain extension, and continuous VPS server management for the selected timeframe.
Early termination of any multi-year agreement forfeits all remaining months, and the non-refund policy remains completely in effect.
Renewal & Expire Guidelines
Subscriptions must be renewed prior to the expiration date of the chosen term to prevent uninterrupted website uptime and email connectivity.
If a subscription is not renewed, services will follow the standard cancellation protocol: immediate website halt, email shutoff, and automatic complete deletion within 60 days.
Upgrading Your Plan
Clients upgrading from a 1-year to a 2-year or 3-year term will have their new terms applied seamlessly.
Any incremental payments made toward upgrades, added storage, customized VPS features, or extra services are non-refundable once committed.
Domain & Infrastructure Licensing
Free domains provided during the subscription period are owned and held by DScholar Web.
Upon subscription cancellation or non-renewal, domain control remains with DScholar Web, and domain transfers out to third-party registrars are not permitted following a cancellation event.
How to Submit a Cancellation Request

Before cancelling, submit a ticket at the E-Workspace so we can resolve your issue.
Notify Support
If you still wish to proceed, send a written cancellation notice TO US VIA EMAIL accounts@dscholarweb.com or use the dashboard tools.
Deactivation
Website and official email services will be disconnected immediately upon processing.
Purge (60 Days)
Website data and databases undergo automated permanent server deletion after 60 days.
Billing & Processing Terms
All subscription payments must be fully settled prior to domain registration, website deployment, or VPS server allocation.
In the rare situation where an accounting dispute or duplicate charge is acknowledged, approved adjustments are processed to the original payment source within standard banking schedules.
Service Termination Rights
DScholar Web reserves the right to terminate or suspend service without refund if a client engages in:
- Failure to fulfill payment terms or deliberate chargebacks.
- Hosting illegal content, malware, spam, or violating server security guidelines.
- Abuse of VPS bandwidth, CPU resources, or email infrastructure.
Client Obligations
- Understand and accept the 1-year, 2-year, or 3-year term limits prior to checkout.
- Acknowledge that subscription fees are non-refundable once paid.
- Utilize the E-Workspace support portal to raise technical complaints or issues prior to taking cancellation actions.
- Backup any personal assets or data prior to submitting a cancellation request.
- Maintain active, valid contact information with our accounts department.
Governing Jurisdiction
This policy is governed by applicable laws under the jurisdiction of Agartala, West Tripura, Tripura, India.
DScholar Web reserves the right to update this policy at any time to reflect operational, server, or regulatory updates.
